Who we are
Our pack at Dogs Review Stuff is on a mission to help you be the best dog mom (or dad!) you can be. Worried if your Bulldog will destroy a toy in two seconds? Read our toy reviews before you buy. Wondering if a luxury carrier is really worth the hype? We’ve got you.
We get it. The internet breeds trust issues.
That’s why we make sure the products we review are worthy of your fur family – hand to dog. Our real-life pics and videos from our paw-nelist of dogs and dog parents will help you make the right decisions for your fur family.
What we do
We test and review products made for dogs, from food & treats to toys & beds and more, we try before you buy.
That means we spend time with the product, allow our dogs to use it and fully.
We're a group of dog parents, not influencers.
How we review:
We spend time examining every product for:
- Quality and durability
- Safety
- Likeability (your dog’s gotta love it!)
- Affordability
We let our dogs use the products for a period of time long enough to know the pros and cons.
Here's our process:
1. We identify products to review
2. Sometimes we ask if brands will donate products to our review team. Sometimes we purchase them ourselves. If a product is donated, we disclose that in our content.
3. Our review team uses the product and examines the pros and cons, documenting the product usage.
4. Each reviewer fills out a form that helps us identify the good, bad, and ugly about each product.
5. We create content, with pet parents in mind, using the data we’ve collected.
Transparency
Sometimes brands pay us to try their products. It does not affect our dog’s opinions.
We always disclose to you if we’ve been compensated in any way for our reviews, including if a product has been donated.

Pamela & Zuzu
BREED: Yorkie Mix
BORN: 2020
Pamela is the founder of and lead creator for Dogs Review Stuff. Zuzu is her fur child and she is Zuzu’s emotional support human. A self-pronounced queen of everything, Zuzu is 12 pounds of rescued Yorkie cuteness. When she’s not lazing about in her rainbow PJs, she’s snuggling with Pamela in their SC home.

Lisa & Max
BREED: French Bulldog
BORN: 2016
Max is a snorty French Bulldog living his best life with his mom, Lisa, in the City of Light, Paris, France. Max loves long walks in the woods, stealing balls at the park, and inhaling cheese in all its forms.

Tara & Cali, Marley, and Gizmo
BREED: 2 Shi-Tzu mix + Aussiedoodle
BORN: 2021, 2018, 2019
Tara is an avid hiker, lover of gardening and the outdoors, and all the dogs, including her three, Cali, Marley, and Gizmo.
Cali
50 lbs of pure baby. She’s as gentle and sweet as can be. Not a mean bone in her body. She shares her toys… but not her bones. She’s an inside dog who wishes she never had to come inside. Her and daddy like to run miles and miles at a time. And she loves to swim!! Even when mommy says no.
Marley
Aussiedoodle that should have been named Nana, after Peter Pan movie. She is the matriarch of the house. She’s sweet as pie but stubborn as a mule and rules the roost. Loves to play, but only on her time. And not too long because that keeps her from being on guard by the front window.
Gizmo
Shihtzu, Pomeranian, Yorkie, Chihuahua but identifies as a Wolfhound, unless mommy is around, and then he’s just a baby. He may be small but his pull power is that of an Alaskan Malamut. He loves soccer, treats and toys. Oh, and ALL of the toys in the world belong to him. ALL of them.
Chandler & Beau
BREED: Mix
BORN: 2021
Beau is a bundle of hyper cuteness with a penchant for cuddling. When he’s not playing ball or running a full on marathon in the backyard, you can find him being his very best boy self, snuggled up with his mom, Chandler. Beau also loves car rides and is a sucker for adventure!

Rachel & Ahsoka
BREED: Golden Doodle
BORN: 2022
Soka, a Golden Retriever/Poodle, is all about the fun. Play time is her favorite time, but she’s also content to deliver her favorite toy to her dog mom, Rachel, and then curl up in her lap. Soka is known for destroying toys, chasing the family cat (who’s less than amused), and going mutts for cat lasers. Rachel, a dog trainer, and Soka live in Maine.

Petra & Dug
BREED: Hound Mix
TYPE: 2021
Petra, a Registered Nurse, found Dug under a porch at a patient’s house, abandoned and full of worms and fleas. Now Dug lives his best life with Petra, who takes him for daily walkies, buys the best chew toys, and serves up the best snackies.

- Scared of big dogs
